Project Description

 The laptop. The main thing all computer companies want in their laptop, is thinness, and a CD-ROM drive. But, all laptops with a CD drive, has it on the side. With my idea, the laptop, (like the Dell Inspiron notebook, latest to date,) Would be thin by where it points the person using it, and gradually gets thicker, by about 1/3 of an inch. and where it si the thickest, on the bottom, there is a CD drive. Yes, this may be a bit inconvenitent, because you have to pick it up to put the CD drive in. But, the laptop would still be thinner, and it would hopefully satisfiy the custumer. To make this for real, I would have to know alot more about computers. But if I were to make it, then ZI would make a custum laptop to fit this. ANother way I could do it, is I could get a laptop of my own, and move around circut boards, and  somehow change it so that the CD player is on the bottom, and the battery is on the side;but with that way, the laptop would not be thinner.

Inspiration

I always am making differint desings of computers, cars, cell phones, ect. to make them better, and have what companies and people want.

Who will enjoy this the most?

People who want a thin laptop that has a CD drive.

The Project

That's where a laptop generally has its CD drive. On the side. But with my idea, It would gradually get thicker, like this:

And then, the battery would go on the side, while the CD drive is on the bottom.
