Project Description

FreeArena will be an opensource real-time arena style sandbox game. You choose out of multiple characters each with their own special attacks and skills, then enter the arena. A bar at the top will allow you to summon monsters, items, and other objects into the arena. The game will have simple point and click movement and need only two keys on the key board. The game will also feature a survival; mode where enimies spawn from a portal in the middle of the arena.

Characters Available

Kid, Uses stick for melee and throws stones for ranged.

Wizard, Uses staff for melee and casts magic for ranged

Knight, uses sword for melee and throws spear for ranged

Archer, punches for melee and  shoots arrow for ranged

Inspiration

I was inspired by the lack of 2d top-down style arena games, so I started FreeArena.

Who will enjoy this the most?

I think fans of arena style survival games will ejoy FreeArena the most because of the survival mode that will be added.
