Project Description

We created this group on February of 2008. This is an organization conformed by young people. We work with culture and power. Along our process we had identify as young in the capacity of generate social changes. That’s why we feel with the faculty of transforming things around us and we do it through culture dynamics that encourage autonomy, freedom and economic solidarity. Following this idea we could say we are a group with our own ideals. According to them we have been working the last year. In this period we have done and took part of several communitarian and educational process like concerts, pedagogic exercises, carnivals and youth encounters. In the search for opening spaces, in which young can share, we use alternative communication mediums showing audio-visual pieces with a political and cultural view.

Inspiration

We live in a sector without any opportunities of cultural production. This situation increase young people to concentrate in other activities that attempt against their social and personal grown, for example drugs, delinquency and violence.  Bearing the previous idea, our organization promoted, the peaceful develop between the youth, through cultural encounters like concerts, bonfires, camps, and interaction with other organizations. These actions pretend to have a positive influence on people.  

It is also a working class neighbourhood inhabited by people who subsist by doing non qualified work; therefore their income and quality of life aren't the best. It’s easy to find the worst and hardest problems of this country, including violence, drug trafficking, drugs addiction, unemployment, lack of education and an endless circle of poorness. All of it affects in a special way children and young.

Who will enjoy this the most?

The project is design to gather the sector’s youth, that inhabited Caminos de la esperanza, Bilbao, Fontanar, Lisboa, Compartir, Berlín. (Colombia) all we want is to share it.

The Project
