Acid Rain

Project Description

When I submitted my last project the night before, I thought I had completely run out of time to do anything else.

Then I got bored. So I decided to create a game based on an idea I had seen in the Digital Open as a challenge to myself! I gave myself one hour to make this game.

Alas, I went overtime by 11 minutes. Oh well. Also, the game isn't very good, but then again I don't claim to be a very good programmer. At all. :) The fun in this project was the self imposed time limit, and the fact that it was either make a game or do mundane maths work. (Not that I don't like maths... It's just that the exercises in my text book are all the same type of question with different numbers put in! Grr.)

Inspiration

http://digitalopen.org/projects/save-trees <-- A project by coolperson gave me the inspiration for this project. Boredom was also a big motivator.

Who will enjoy this the most?

Honestly, I'm not too sure. But it does have educational overtones! (If you manage to get past those acid rain clouds, that is.)

The Project

That's the game. It was made using Flash, programmed in AS2, and created in an hour and eleven minutes. coolperson came up with the concept, and I took the proverbial ball and ran with it. :)

Just occured to me that I should probably enclose the source too. It's a .fla file :)
